I like this episode & the other episode on glee (not as a fan honestly not being anti-glee fan). Some of you are nicely & honestly are making mean not-so-nice comments about this show & this episode. Some of us do like/love this show on tv. Have some respect for this show & episode. Some of you don't have to like this episode just respect it.

I'm gonna respond to each item on the above list, as a Glee fan and speaking for the majority of the Glee fans.

1) The entire premise of the show makes no sense.

Everybody has already realized this. Why we continue to watch a show that has no continuity and has not one episode that makes sense from start to finish, I don't know.

2) Glee frequently claims to be about arts education, but is really all about money.

The actual show is about money. The club inside the show is about arts education. That being said, Ryan Murphy is a loser. Not even Glee fans like him. We're planning a mass murder of the creators of Glee. If Glee went the way fans wanted it to, it'd be a lot better.

3) Glee is a movement, but in the shallowest ways possible.

You're concerned with the issue of people using Glee to define themselves, yes? Everybody has something that gives them the confidence to talk about who they really are. I used to be so scared of telling anybody that I was attracted to both genders, and then on Glee, they dealt with bisexuality so flippantly. I'm not saying that's a good thing generally, but Brittany was bisexual on Glee and she found a way to date both guys and girls and it didn't bother her at all. Now I can walk down the halls, proud of my sexuality, but not needing Glee further than that. (Except to ogle the hot actors/actresses.)

4) Glee has a very narrow view of bullying and discrimination.

That's a really great point. Unfortunately, when anyone tries to give Ryan Murphy constructive criticism, he basically shuts his eyes, throws his hands over his ears, and yells, "LA LA LA!" Trust me. People have tried.

5) Glee is touted as a show promoting gay rights, but probably does more to undermine them.

True, Kurt is stereotypical. But have you watched Season 2? There's Blaine, who's a hypocritical asshole, but he's not fairy-gay.

Also, he's pretty.

Just a note to the creator/fans of this site: I hope you realize that most Glee fans realize that there are these problems with the show...

...and approximately a million more. I'm a fan of Glee. I also admit that the show has no continuity whatsoever, and I've yet to find an episode that makes sense from start to finish. Some of the songs they've sung are awful, and I've completely erased some episodes from my memory because they taint my life.

BUT.

The show isn't completely awful. There are some lines that really made me laugh, not to mention the eye candy (so I'm bisexual. I get double the pleasure ;) and some really emotional, well-done scenes. The actors are all amazing people.

As for Ryan Murphy, the creator... Well, the Glee fans have come to a general consensus that he should probably die.

That said, if you need them, I have many more reasons why Glee is the worst show on the planet, and also some arguments to why it's not.

What I find absurd is that they mistreat her due to her syndrome, but also give her free cards to be a total bitch due to her syndrome.
It's the double standard, the writers can be as stereotyping and hateful as they want, yet claim to vouch for equality, and then, when the character does something hateful and morally reprehensible, like throwing a plate of food to Rachel's face in the middle of a performance in front of the entire school, she doesn't get the slightest retribution.

oh well i like Glee because i love to sing. i can sing so i just watch the show as a show about music, All my friend in school who loves glee is all the popular kids who can sing. and for the gay-show, they censored all the scene about that in my country. I love dark humour, offensive jokes are usually only funny if they're pointing out how stupid it is that people find that thing offensive. Glee seems like it tries to do that but fails. Epically. I hate Glee because it's original sale point was that it disproved stereotypes, but then it enforced them! Its like it was trying to show what kids were like behind the stereotype but then decided it would be funnier to enforce them. Like dumb blondes (Britanny), asian kids and electronics (Asian camp), bitchy latinos (Santana), flamboyant gays (Kurt), slutty cheerleaders and so many more!

I am sorry you know what I'm just going to say it. Can everyone please
get off Darren Criss' nuts? I mean seriously *sometimes* he is good but
his voice has *never* been all that spectacular and his penchant for
VASTLY over-emoting while he's lip-synching is more irritating than
inspiring (he's the only one that you know with absolute certainly is
not really singing on camera when he's performing). And also, I'm sorry
but I am so effing tired of Klaine. Talk about a relationship with zero
actual chemistry. Kurt and Blaine were only tolerable together because
everyone was so worried about poor, fragile Kurt finding someone who
wouldn't treat him like he was sub-human and Blaine was a sweet kid.
But seriously that's all it's ever been. They have *no* sexual spark
together at all. Blaine is an okay character who has been so incredibly
overblown as an asset to the show and Darren Criss is a decent actor who
has gets waaaaay more admiration than is necessary for his
contributions. There's no "eargasms" here people, just mediocrity. Okay,
there, I finally said it. Been waiting two years to get up the nerve.
Felt good...felt really good. Okay, let the Glee stans commence the
hating.
What the fuck happened to this show? Why do people continue to pretend it's still "groundbreaking" and "original" when in actuality all it's become is a pale imitation of Degrassi. Oh and as far as this particular episode goes I don't mind Artie and love Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr. is hot, I'm sorry) but that whole "scream" sequence was the most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen in my life. God that was horrific. Michael must have been turning over in his grave.

Americans are getting dumber by the second because of the new shows on TV now. There needs to be a limit on mass produced culture and it's toll on society. Shows geared towards the youth/teen demographic should offer more than some entertainment value with pretty faces. There's a whole generation of kids growing up being exposed to shallow and narcissistic way of life as shown by how these shows act like "role models" for real life. This is influence is not just limited to Glee but to other crap shows like Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, that retarded vampire series on WB, the Carrie Diaries. This is actually one generation where TV culture has become toxic. It's not just bad for your health to sit in front of the tube with tons of junk food but it's bad for young people/the nation's souls!

GREAT ! Finally! A place that tells it like it is with this TRASH program.

My niece - 14 - blabs about this piece of garbage like it was some sort of motivational extravaganza. I watached a couple of shows to see what it was about while my stomach churned the whole time.
I want to vomit every time I hear the theme song on tv.

With a wife that goes gaga over this thing, it is all I can do not to throw a chair through the tv.

When the episode teaching 'Starship' by that weirdo was on I had to leave the house.
This show teaches that the only way to get ahead is in the entertainment industry, and if you don't 'make it' you are a piece of SH&T!
